Cultured rat brain astrocytes double stained for GFAP and DNA. This image has been reconstructed from 36 microscope fields of view. The final image size is 3624 x 2688 pixels. Individual images were acquired with a Sony DXC-960 color camera coupled to a Sony integration unit (MPU-F100A).
